Attention Fake news!
Dear students,
We are writing this letter to inform you about an important subject in recent years.
Today, young people spend most of their time on social networks. We have access to billions of information on any subject. Instantly, through these networks, we share our thoughts, our lives.
However, we wish to warn you about the hidden dangers of social networks, that may have bad consequences, like psychological impact, school bullying.
Therefore, we should not publish anything we receive or see on the networks until we make sure that the information is reliable.
Hence we must :
- Verify our sources,
- Read beyond the lines,
- Check the author,
- Ask an expert
- Check the date
- Verify if it could be a joke
- Consider if our believes could affect our judgment.
We must stop the circulation of Fake News. Let’s mobilise to stop this problem and live in a real world with real news.
